Floor turkey substitutes for beef properly in these stuffed peppers that may function a lightweight dinner, satisfying lunch or facet dish. With much less than 345 energy and 33 grams of protein that is one high-protein dish.

Straightforward Turkey-Stuffed Peppers

Substances:

1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb (450g) lean floor turkey
1 yellow onion, diced

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190ºC).

When the oil is sizzling, add the turkey and onion, season with salt and pepper and cook dinner over medium-high warmth till the turkey is browned and cooked by way of to an inner temperature of 165°F, about 7 minutes. Add brown rice and tomatoes and cook dinner, stirring often, till the water from the tomatoes has cooked off, about 3 minutes. 

Divide combination evenly between bell peppers and place in a sq. baking dish. Cowl with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Take away foil, high with cheese and bake till cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
