July has been a big month for GHOST Lifestyle‘s incredibly popular energy drink, GHOST Energy. Just a few days ago, GHOST announced a partnership with the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies to bring branded cans to their respective local markets for the rest of the season.
While the cans were new, the flavor was familiar – both editions contained the popular Cherry Limeade flavor. Today, though, we’re getting a brand new, permanent flavor!
GHOST Energy x Welch’s Grape
GHOST Energy was released back in 2020, and in the four years since, it’s become a juggernaut in the energy drink market. Its rise was meteoric and it continues to take market share. Much of GHOST’s success lies in its collaborations – by partnering up with famous brands like Sonic and Sour Patch Kids, GHOST has brought timeless, nostalgic flavors to your favorite supplements.
This new flavor of GHOST Energy follows the same formula. GHOST is teaming up with Welch’s Grape Juice to release a Welch’s Grape flavor of GHOST Energy, reminiscent of that delicious, sweet, purple goodness we all enjoyed as kids.
We originally covered the GHOST x Welch’s collab on January 2019, as it was originally launched in Legend and Ghost Amino (which has been upgraded to Ghost Intra), and we’re thrilled that Welch’s made the initial Ghost Legend V4 launch – so if you’re a fan of grape, things are looking up for you!
We’re going to dive into a little summary on how GHOST Energy works, but first, let’s check PricePlow for good GHOST deals, and check out our video review of the new flavor:

As Teased on the PricePlow Podcast?!
If you listen to thePricePlow Podcast, you’ll know that we’ve had GHOST co-founder and CEO Dan Lourenço on the show a few times. In the last episode, #143: Legend V4 and the Ghost 100 Year Plan, Mike asked him to tease the next Ghost Energy flavor by telling us the color of the can. Dan said he couldn’t, because it’d be too obvious of a giveaway.
Now we see why. Later that day, GHOST ended up teasing it on social media anyway!
Readers here may also be interested in the episode with Dan that came before that, #116: The Meteoric Rise of Ghost Energy, where he sits down and talks more about the story and growth of the famous drink.
Pioneers of collabs
Before GHOST, flavor collaborations were rare, if they happened at all. GHOST pioneered the marriage of classic, branded flavors with supplements and the industry has massively changed for the better because of it.
GHOST always keeps the collab roster full and ready to bring consumers a new “old” flavor they can enjoy in a new way. Welch’s Grape, in particular, fits perfectly with GHOST Energy. It’s cool, it’s refreshing, and it makes you want to move.
