Calories: 405 calories | Total fat: 8g | Sugars: 34g |  Salts: 0.19g

Ingredients

50g oats  125ml unsweetened apple juice150ml semi-skimmed milk  1 medium dessert apple, diced  1 pinch of cinnamon 

Method

Throw all the ingredients into a saucepan, keeping a few pieces of apple aside.Cook over a medium heat until boiling then lower the heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring often.Spoon the porridge into a serving bowl and top with the remaining apple and add a sprinkle of cinnamon.

TIPS AND TWEAKS

Try topping your porridge with a handful of berries or a sliced banana to add flavour and more of your 5 a day!
