Air Fryer Salmon With Arugula-Berry Salad

The air fryer cooks salmon to perfection, giving it a slight crust on the skin whereas maintaining the inside moist. For those who don’t have an air fryer, you’ll be able to bake the salmon at 400°F (200ºC) for about 10 minutes, or till the salmon reaches an inside temperature of 145°F.

Between the antioxidants within the berries and the omega-3’s within the salmon, this meal packs an anti-inflammatory powerhouse that advantages your coronary heart (1, 2).

Air Fryer Salmon With Arugula-Berry Salad

Components

1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt, divided
1/4 tsp black pepper, divided
1/4 tsp brown sugar
1/8 tsp garlic powder
2 4-oz. skinless salmon fillets
Cooking spray
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
4 cups child arugula
1 cup contemporary raspberries
1 cup contemporary strawberries, sliced

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix the chili powder, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper, brown sugar, and garlic powder. Sprinkle the combination evenly over the salmon fillets.

Preheat the air fryer, if mandatory, to 400°F (200°C). Coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Add the salmon and prepare dinner for 7–8 minutes, or till it reaches an inside temperature of 145°F.

In the meantime, in a medium bowl, whisk collectively the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and the remaining 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper. Add the arugula, raspberries, and strawberries and toss gently to coat.

Serve the salmon with the salad.
