Ingredients
BAKED APPLES
2 Apple Pie Quest Bars
5 fuji apples
1 tbsp zero calorie brown sugar
Pinch salt
½ tsp cinnamon
â…“ cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp melted butter
Method
Preheat the oven to 350 F and cut the Quest bars into small pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 5 minutes. Let cool completely.
Once cooled, place the pieces into a food processor or blender and blend until small crumbles form.
Meanwhile, in a bowl, stir together the bar pieces, sweetener, salt, cinnamon and chopped pecans.
Add in the melted butter and combine.
Cut the tops off of the apples and use a melon baller to scoop out the center. Fill each apple with the crumble mixture.
Increase the oven heat to 400F cover the apples with tin foil and bake for 15-18 minutes.
Serve warm with low calorie ice cream if desired.
